Keeping this ‘marketing-scape’ in mind, the University of Central Lancashire’s BA (Hons) Business and Marketing Degree is stylised to create value, incorporating strategy, business insights and information that will propel the student to reach the zenith and compete on a global platform. The students would be privileged to learn how to develop successful marketing campaigns, manage marketing teams, develop brands, market positioning and build brand image, conduct marketing research and competitor analysis, social media, how to be a responsible marketeer and explore strategic approach for marketing. The holistic degree includes key disciplines such as business strategy, human resource management, economics, international business and globalisation. This all-encompassing inter-disciplinary perspective includes trending digital marketing and will ensure that the students gain the best business acumen, whilst sharpening their skills and talents.

Assessment

Each module will have its own assessment structure. The assessment guidelines maybe collected from lecturers once the student is registered in a particular year. Assessments may vary from submitting an assignment or report to presentations and exams. Each module may have one or more forms of assessments to match the learning outcomes specified in the module descriptor. Each assessment will have a marking rubric that defines how marks are offered.
