PEARSON LEVEL 7 POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

Introduction to the Program


The Pearson BTEC Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, aims to enhance student’s career and employability in the areas of business and management by developing a critical awareness and appreciation of contemporary business issues. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of the business sector, Pearson BTEC Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership give students experience of the breadth and depth of the sector that will prepare them for further study or training.

  • Pearson BTEC Level 7 in Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership are assessed using a combination of internally assessed assignments and internally assessed Pearson-set assignments.

Course Outline


This qualification builds on the 135 GLH Diploma and is designed to provide a broad qualification on strategic management and leadership. It prepares learners to work as strategic managers and leaders with optional units in, for example, planning, creative and innovative management, and communication.


The purpose of BTEC Level 7 is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals who are able to meet the demands of employers in the business sector and adapt to a constantly changing world.


The qualifications aim to widen access to higher education and enhance the career prospects of those who undertake them. The BTEC Level 7 diploma qualification made up of 60 credits. These are made up of 2 mandatory units and 1 optional units (All compulsory).


Entry Requirements


- A/Ls 3 simple (3S for Local A/Ls or 3D for London A/Ls) passes. For students who don’t have A/Ls AIC Foundation in Business (FIB) or a similar a pre university qualification recognized by AIC Campus.

- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and work experiences

- Age above 19

Weekends - Saturday or/and Sunday, 10.00am to 1.00pm or 1.30 pm-4.30 pm


Entry Requirements


Level 7 – Students will study three units, with a value of 20 credits each = 60 credits.
