This course examines in depth how computer systems are designed and developed. You’ll have the opportunity to use different hardware and software and gain a variety of useful skills for your future career. A pathway in information systems helps you understand how systems development can transform data into useful outputs for an interface or for decision-making in large organizations.
Entry Criteria
- Applicants with Level 5 qualifications (Higher National Diploma, ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Computing, etc.) from approved awarding bodies will be considered for transfer to the final stage of the BSc program and earn their degree in one year.
- Applicants who have successfully completed two years of study at a university may be considered for direct entry with an advanced standing.
- Other equivalent qualifications may be accepted for entry to this program.
- Decisions for admissions will be based on overall suitability for the program and whether the minimum entry requirements of holding GCSE English and Math at Grades C and above (or equivalent) are met.
