Master of Information Technology

Introduction

This programme is designed for graduates desiring to enhance their competencies when pursuing a career in information technology and for those graduates in other functional areas desiring to use information technology to enhance their ability to provide effective and efficient solutions to their stakeholders.

Programme Objectives

Developing high quality IT professionals to meet the growing demand in the IT industry

• Upgrading the professionals who are already in the software industry with the basic knowledge and skills in machine learning and analytics
• Enabling non-computing graduates to secure a career in the IT industry

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent acceptable to the Senate of the University of Kelaniya

Duration: 12 months (The duration may vary due to unexpected interruptions) 

Course Fee

The all-inclusive fee for the Master of Information Technology course would be Rs. 325,000/-, which could be paid in three installments with an initial upfront fee of Rs. 150,000 at registration.The remaining installments should be paid as follows.

• Installment 2: Rs. 100,000/- after three months of the registration
• Installment 3: Rs. 75,000/- after six months of the registration
