Piyumi Wijeadasa

With over thirteen years of dedicated service as a government schoolteacher, including a substantial tenure at Royal College, Colombo 7, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively towards the excellence. Throughout my time at Royal College, I have held various roles that have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of educational processes and best practices. As a Secondary School Science teacher and a biology teacher in English medium, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, as evidenced by maintaining a pass rate of 99% - 100% in the G.C.E. O/L examination. Furthermore, my experience as a class teacher for Grades 10 and 11, as well as my role as the English medium Science Subject Coordinator, have equipped me with strong leadership and organizational skills. I would like to teach Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Human Biology for secondary school students. In addition to the local curriculum, I have taught students following Edexcel and Cambridge curricula as well.
