Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques
Overview
This course is to meet the mandatory minimum standards of competence for seafarers for safety familiarization, basic training and instruction in personal survival techniques in accordance with section A-VI/1 as set out in table A-VI/1-1 of the STCW Code.
Intake Limitations
Maximum 24 students per course.
Academic Faculty
Our training will be delivered by properly qualified lecturers and instructors with qualifications as specified in MSN 03/2022 issued by the Director General of Merchant Shipping, Merchant Shipping Secretariat, Sri Lanka.
Entry Requirements
Be not less than 16 years at the time of commencement of the training course.
All participants should have a valid medical certificate issued in accordance with STCW Reg. 1/9, Section A-1/9.
