This course provides systemic training, and thorough knowledge and skills of all aspects regarding all the activities related to imports, exports and clearing from the customs. Thus the course provides theory and practicals related to the job such as liaise between the importer and the exporter as well as the customs, seaport, airport and related authorities, agencies which are directly connected to import and export work and procedures, necessary paperwork in accordance with the values and regulations governing imports and exports, external trade and from the stage of packing of goods until transported to the relevant vessel, import and export duties. This course is the one of entriqualification to National Diploma in Maritime and Logistics Management.
This course will be carried out under the accreditation of the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and conducted in line with the National Competency Standards (NCS).
After completing this course, you will be able to find a job as a wharf clerk in customs, seaport, airport and related departments and authorities as well as Export and Import company as a wharf clerk.
