Anyone with a strong desire to help people is encouraged to enroll in this training program, but nursing assistants who work directly with the sick, elderly, and disabled are the target audience. The course modules primarily focus on building a strong, professional, and positive relationship with the clients by making sure they are comfortable and have peace of mind. This course is offered both full-time and part-time.
The successful trainees are awarded the NVQ level 3 certificate by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka (TVEC). NVQ is an internationally recognized qualification, which will assist the trainees to obtain employment abroad, particularly in countries such as Japan , Israel and western countries.
