Course Overview

This Teachers' English language course prepares you for the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test – the test from the University of Cambridge designed especially for teachers of English, to speakers of other languages. The Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a test that focuses on the teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary, or adult learners of English, anywhere in the world.

• Our course will provide the valuable knowledge, skills, and techniques required to pass the Cambridge TKT and help you build a successful and rewarding career as a teacher of English.
• It is ideal for those who have recently started teaching or are considering it as a career, but it is also useful for experienced teachers
• The English language teaching course covers a variety of concepts related to language, language use and the background to and practice of language learning and teaching. It is divided into three modules

• A range of materials, tasks and activities for English language teaching

Module 2: Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching

This module tests your knowledge of:

• The skills needed to plan lessons
• The types of assessment and resources that guide your lesson planning

Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning process

This module tests your knowledge of:

• Teachers' and learners' language
• Classroom management techniques
