Course Overview
In this course students will specialise in games and interactive design and be prepared for the emergent growth industries of entertainment and interactive design afforded by ubiquitous digital technologies.
With a focus on game and interactive design, the major provides studies in both traditional multimedia and emerging digital interactive technologies, drawing together theory and knowledge from multiple creative disciplines including web, visual and interaction design. Students gain skills and competence in the design, scripting, development and usability of digital media products for information, entertainment and commerce. Students will study the social and cultural impact and the psychological and social principles of digital products of web and other emergent digital products.
