This programme aims to provide students with a strong base of core knowledge, skills and experience to progress in to postgraduate studies in health care leadership, administration, management and research.
It seeks to equip students with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant theories and practical issues in leadership, operations, administration and management in health care settings such as hospitals, clinics, projects as well as such facilities and projects in social care, childcare, mental health, aging care, disability support.
Standard Entry Criterias:
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or an academic or professional qualification declared equivalent to a bachelor’s degree by the higher education authorities in Sri Lanka and have achieved a second
class degree or equivalent to similar academic standard.
Special Considerations:
Applicants who do not meet the standard entry criteria will be assessed for their eligibility by the programme committee for postgraduate studies on case-by-case basis. Upon evaluating the evidence provided, maybe given entry to the programme.
Language Requirements:
Students should have obtained IELTS 6.5 or demonstrate equivalent standard of English Language proficiency through evidence and at the interview.
